Can my voice agent take a credit card payment over the phone?

The common way is a payment link. The agent sends an SMS in the middle of the call with a Stripe or Square payment link, and the customer completes the payment on their own phone.

Use the Ask and Save node to collect the other details first, such as name and addresses.

Taking card numbers spoken over the phone needs special setup and does not work with every payment provider. It does not work with Stripe, while it can be done with Authorize.net and some others.
